Hershey Pennsylvania

April 4th & 5th our last 2 days with Melanie, Colton & Kayson we spent in Hershey, PA. We went to Chocolate World one day and rode on the Disney type ride through the factory to see how chocolate is made. Annika & Kayson liked the singing cows, I liked the handful of chocolate candies they gave us at the end. Annika liked to see the "chocolate people" (the candy bars with faces and hands) there was a mechanical chocolate bar waving at us that Annika kept waving back at. Then we took a trolley tour through town to see the real factory and the Hershey kiss street lights.

Flat Melissa met up with her brother, Flat Richard, which Kayson brought with him on their trip.

Annika & the "Chocolate People"

The next day we went to Hershey Park. They had a lot of kiddie rides. Kayson had a good time, Annika rode a couple of them, but she had more fun pushing Kayson's stroller around with or without him in it. They also have a bunch of roller coasters. The new super fast ones are great for a thrill, but I think my favorite are the old wooden rollercoasters.

Thanks for the memory of the Washington DC temple. My favorite. Beautiful pics of the cherry blossoms. What a great treat from your blog today!

That little Hershey bar dude is kind of creepy. . . .but I'd still like to get a picture with him. Wow, Annika has gotten so big! How old is she now?
