Cherry Blossom & Kite Festivals

On March 29th Kent, Annika & I met Tiana, C.J., Ches and Ellie at the Cherry Blossom Festival at the National Building Museum. They had lots of crafts for the kids to make and dancers, hip hop and traditional Japanese dancers performing. The Ches and Annika had the most fun dancing along to the hip hop music and playing in the Building Zone with blocks, trucks and puzzles.
There is a link under videos of Ches and Annika dancing.

Ches and Annika in their hard hats. Kent is so proud! The National Building Museum is his favorite place to visit in D.C.

After leaving the NBM we walked down to the mall to see the kite festival. It was a nice windy day, so there were a lot of kites flying and a game of kick ball in progress.
